Christmas time is fast approaching, and with it the joy and expectations to spend time with our family and, of course, lovely gifts that we will cherish for the entire year. Unfortunately, not everyone is as fortunate as we are, and what is sadder than the prospect of a child who will wake up without a present to open on Christmas Day. This is where JCI London wants to make a difference.

The Gift of Christmas appeal aims to collect Christmas gifts and money for disadvantaged children. We will do this by volunteering at Ealing Broadway shopping centres to collect donations from the public. Any donations collected are given to Barnardos who give them to children directly.

JCI London members can get involved with the project by volunteering with the Ealing Broadway shopping centre Gift of Christmas appeal. This is great way to help and it is an incredibly fun and rewarding experience. We are asking for your help to make sure children won’t wake up on Christmas Day without a present.

Make a donation of a few hours of your time and come and volunteer with us for a full day, alternatively a morning or afternoon shift.

What’s in it for you? Feel like you’ve done something worthwhile for the underprivileged children in our community as well as practising your power of persuasion.
